Hi! How are you? Our house is big. There are seven rooms. The kitchen, dining room and living room are downstairs. The living room has got a fireplace. Next to the fireplace is an armchair and there is a carpet on the floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. My bedroom is small. My bedroom walls are yellow. Thre is a bed, a bookcase and a wardrobe. Next to the bed is a bedside cabinet. There is a mirror on the wall. I like it.

My favourite singer is Shakira. She´s Colombian and she´s got a great voice. She also writes songs. My favourite songs is `My Hips Don´t Lie.´

Shakira can speak five languages. She´s got five brothers and three sisters. She likes painting and listening to jazz music.

I´ve got a pet hamster. Its name is Lucky and he is two years old. He has got white fur, big black eyes and sharp claws. He can run very fast. He eats nuts. He is really cute and I love him a lot.

Greetings from Paris, France. We´re staying at a hotel near the city centre. We´re having a great time here. The hotel´s very nice. It´s cloudy and cold. I´m playing computer games right now and my brother is playing a board game with his new friend. Dad´s having a coffee at a café and Mum´ shopping for souvenirs at the moment. 18^th Birthdays

In the UK, a person´s 18^th birthday is one of the most important days in their life.

They usually celebrate their birthdays at home with family and friends. They decorate the house with balloons and streamers and often have a band or a DJ to play music. There is always a birthday cake and lots of party food and drinks for everyone.

The gifts are usually something quite special, like necklace or watch. The person celebrating feels very special.
